Located in Portland's Homestead neighborhood, Abitare Condominiums is a 57-unit complex designed by Brun Moreland Christopher Architects PC and constructed by Rembold Construction in 1978. Units are studios, one bedroom, or two bedrooms, and feature either a view balcony or rooftop terrace. The property is managed and maintained by the Abitare Homeowner's Association.

At an elevation of approximately 285 feet, perhaps the greatest feature of Abitare is the breathtaking views of the Portland skyline, the Willamette River, Portland's east side, and the Cascade Mountain range, including Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood. To the west, the Terwilliger Parkway and it's outdoor amenities - biking and hiking trails, paved walkway, playground, and picnic tables - add to residents' pleasure.
